About this Recipe

Hi, this is the first recipe i mastered, while working in my first 5 star hotel job. This recipe made me realise, how easy cooking can be by just combining few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 200 gms Cottage cheese
  • 100 gms Onions
  • 100 gms Makhni Gravy
  • 20 gms ginger
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Slice onions and cut capsicums in small cubes and slit green chilies carefully. Chop ginger in a bowl. Cut cottage cheese in small cubes of an inch.

Step 2

Take a thick bottomed pan or kadai, add oil in it and heat it over medium flame. When oil bubbles start to rise, add mustard seeds, green chillies & ginger juliens.

Step 3

Now, add bell peppers and onions well. Saute and stir the vegetables for few minutes. Add garam masala, turmeric, and red chili powders. Sprinkle salt according to your taste and toss the vegetables to mix the spices well.

Step 4

When vegetables are nicely cooked, add sliced cottage cheese in the pan. Mix the ingredients well with a spatula.

Step 5

When paneer turns tender and golden brown, add Makhni gravy and mix it well with the cooked vegetables. Remove from the flame and toss the gravy well. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot with Indian bread of your choice.
