MAKING A PASTA IS ALL ABOUT LOVE. ONE WHO HAS LOTS OF LOVE IN HEART CAN DEFINITELY MAKE A GREAT PASTA. THIS RECIPE IS MADE WITH LOTS OF LOVE FOR SURE!!!!!

Ingredients

For Dough :-

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 pinch salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 egg 
  • For filling:
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2tbsp butter.
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 5/6 fresh basil leaves.
  • 50gms Mushrooms.
  • 40 gms minced chicken.
  • Salt & Pepper to taste.
     
  • For sauce:
  • 3 tbsp butter.
  • 6/7 cloves of garlic.
  • 5/6 fresh basil leaves.
  • 30 gms cheese.
  • Salt & Pepper as per taste.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

 Take  flour and salt together on a work surface and form a well. Whisk together egg, and olive oil . Start mixing the egg with the flour with one hand. After combining the ingredients add a bit of water and knead it well for about 5- 10 mins. Rest the dough for 20 mins

Step 2

Heat the pan , add butter to it. Add crushed and chopped garlic to it and sauté until turns aromatic , then add finely chopped mushrooms and sauté it until the mushroom drains it’s water and turns dry. Add the minced chicken to it and cook well …make sure the chicken is not too dry. Finish with shredded basil.Season it with salt and pepper.

Step 3
Roll a thin sheet of the dough.

To assemble the ravioli, brush the egg wash over a sheet of pasta. Drop the filling mixture on the dough by teaspoonfuls about one inch apart. Cover the filling with the top sheet of pasta, pressing out the air from around each portion of filling. Press firmly around the filling to seal. Cut into individual ravioli with a round cutter. Seal the edges.
 

Step 4

 Fill a large pot with water , and add salt to and 1 tbsp oil to it . Bring it to a boil , put the Ravioli, cook it for 5-8 mins until the pasta is well cooked. 

 Step 5

To make butter garlic basil sauce, heat a pan add 3 tbsp of butter to it , add crushed garlic ,cook it well ,add fresh basil leaves , cheese & season it with salt and pepper

Toss the Ravioli with the prepared creamy sauce and serve hot .
