About this Recipe

 THIS IS A AWESOME COMBINATION OF AUTHENTIC BIRYANI RICE WITH MODERN TASTE OF GRILLED CHICKEN…. DO TRY AND COMMENT 

Ingredients

  • PULAO RICE- 200 GMS
  • ONIONS SLICED- 2 NOS
  • BLACK CARDAMOM- 2-3 NOS
  • CINNAMON – 1 SMALL STICK
  • BAYLEAF – 2
  • CHICKEN BREAST- 1 NO.
  • BIRYANI MASALA- 20 GMS
  • GHEE- 2 TABLESPOON
  • CURD- 50 GMS
  • GINGER GARLIC PASTE- 50 GMS
  • SLIT GREEN CHILLIES- 2 NOS
  • BELL PEPPERS juliens- 60 gms
  • SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE

Step by Step Instructions

 Step 1

Soak rice for atleast one hour. Apply half of ginger garlic paste, salt & pepper to chicken breast.

Step 2

In Cooking pot, heat ghee. Add green chillies, remaining ginger garlic paste and spices. Add sliced onions. Cook till transculent. 

 

 

Step 3

 Add curd and soaked rice. Mix biryani masala and salt as per taste. Add double quantity of hot water. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. 

TIP- Cook either in heavy bottom pot or put a tawa/flat pan underneath to avoid burning

 

Step 4

 Grill marinated Chicken breast in flat pan or griller. Slice into 4 medium sized parts. Heat a pan, add little ghee, toss bell peppers & cooked biryani rice. In serving pot, layer rice and top with grilled chicken. Serve with raita
